A question we get a lot

When one signature stops being enough

For ordinary correspondence, what you just built is the whole job. It costs nothing, it needs no account, and it does not expire.

The point where it stops being the right instrument is narrow, and easy to recognise: you begin sending the same message to a list of people who asked to receive it. A mailbox is the wrong tool for that. Bulk sending from a personal account gets your domain throttled or blocked, and consent rules expect a working unsubscribe link in every message, which no signature can carry. That is a different product, not a longer signature.

If you have reached that point, two platforms cover most of it. They are built around genuinely different ideas, so the useful thing is to say what each one is and let you choose.

Partner linksThe two links below are partner links: if you subscribe through one, this site’s operator may be paid a commission, and your price is unchanged. That payment does not affect what is written here or the order the two appear in, and neither platform is needed for anything on this site. Full wording in the terms.
    GetResponse Has a free tier

A broad email suite: newsletters, autoresponders, signup forms, landing pages and webinars in one account. The free account has no deadline. Its first 14 days include the premium features, after which it continues with limits on automation, webinars, messages and landing pages. Paid tiers run Starter, Marketer, Creator.

    ActiveCampaign Trial, then paid

Built around automation and a sales CRM rather than one-off sends: branching sequences, conditional logic, and contact records the automations read from. There is no free tier. A 14-day trial starts without a card, then the tiers run Starter, Plus, Professional, Enterprise.
